Has to be Dalí, for me. Reminds me of some of my more bizarre dreams, but there's something in the clarity and perfection of the art, though it's used to depict highly imperfect scenes, that I find really interesting. I saw a few of the real things in the Prado in Madrid (possibly the best art museum in the world. It's also got some fantastic Goya) and they're even more impressive in real life. Also, and I know it's not very original, but I really like monet. I'm not keen on all the boring water lillies and stuff, but when I was in Paris, I went to a little museum and saw some of his other works. They're absolutely incredible, and I love the way that they look almost photographic from a distance, and then disolve into spolodges of colour as you move up close.

roy is all the banter, but im more into surrealism, if i could i would buy a gaudi building but they're all owned by museums etc. and they probably cost about 20 million, but who doesn't want a multi-coloured house which looks like a castle!!!
